Vince started Robertson Surveying in 2009 following a return home from a 3 year stint working in the UK. The business has grown steadily year on year. He has built the business on his reputation in the Wellington Industry as a reliable provider of quality Quantity Surveying Services.
He started his career in 1993 with a Cadetship at Mainzeal Construction in Wellington, and has enjoyed a successful career including teaching a course part-time at the Petone Weltec Institute for 9 years and is an active Registered Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors.
Vince lives in Petone with his wife and two teenage children, enjoying family life, various community and sporting groups, and has a custodian role on behalf of his Taranaki Whānui Iwi, of the Parangarahu Lakes beyond the Eastbourne coast.

James joined Robertson Surveying in 2017 following a full-time year studying towards the New Zealand Diploma in Construction, majoring in Quantity Surveying. He continued the remainder of the Diploma part-time, and has now completed the Qualification.
With over 15 years experience working as an Electrician, James brings extensive experience working in construction environments ranging from Commercial to Heavy Industrial, and Manufacturing.
James’ employment history demonstrates his aptitude for meeting company goals while maintaining high levels of safety, as well as his ability to remain technically astute under high levels of pressure.
He works well in both sole-charge and team environments, thrives on challenges, and always seeks to learn new skills.
Outside of work, James enjoys surfing and trail running around Wellington, taking advantage of the city's natural beauty and landscapes.

Michael has been working for Robertson Surveying since 2018, with over 20 years experience in the Construction sector, including working on Commercial construction sites and operating his own Painting business.
He’s a practical person, with ‘hands on’ knowledge of the industry. He has skills in building new and strengthening existing relationships and his interactions with clients, trades and other professionals are always fair and consistent.
Michael is a Family man, a general knowledge guru and an avid Golfer.
Ryan Gamble

Ryan has completed his Diploma in Quantity Surveying through correspondence learning. He worked part-time during the study and is a fast learner. Ryan multi tasks completing payment claims and construction measures to deadlines, while also administering tenders on behalf of our clients.
Ryan also brings a technical background from his years working in Electronic Security and is a whizz kid on computer.
